Get free access to the Belgian and international press with Europress

Did you know that, as a member of the University of Liège, you have free access to the Belgian and international press, both general and specialized, thanks to Europresse?

Europresse is a platform that gives you access to several hundred news titles, thanks to a subscription to ULiège Library. Most of the titles are French-language newspapers and magazines, but international titles are also available.

Europresse is available via the ULiège Library catalog

Good to know!

  • Remember to activate the VPN ("ULiege Acces Bibliotheques" server) if you want to access Europresse from home!
  • Some titles are not available on Europresse or are only available after an embargo of one or more days. The last accessible issue of the newspaper "La Meuse", for example, was published two days ago.
  • Europresse limits access to a small number of simultaneous users. To facilitate access for as many users as possible, we recommend downloading articles directly to your computer, rather than pinning them to the platform.

Ophirofox: unlock access to subscriber-only articles

Would you like to access Europressedienst content even more easily? Ophirofox is for you!

Ophirofox is a browser extension that lets you read the newspaper articles available on Europressedienst.

The extension adds a "Read on Europresse" button to articles reserved for subscribers. This button automatically redirects you to the article available on Europresse.
