Cycling to ULiège: efficient, sustainable... and comfortable!

oosing to cycle to ULiège means opting for efficient, economical and environmentally-friendly mobility.

To ensure that this solution remains pleasant on a daily basis, suitable facilities are available to students and staff:

Numerous parking spaces

In addition to more than 600 free-access bicycle parking spaces around the buildings, (Restricted access link)  (by badge or key), equipped with racks, lighting, cameras and charging points for bicycles and electric scooters, are available to ULiège members on request.

Free-access showers

(Restricted access link)  are available on our campuses to refresh you and help you get on with your day. Lockers are also available at certain locations for you to leave your belongings.

Stress-free maintenance/repair

(Restricted access link)  are available at various locations for quick maintenance and repairs.

A bike workshop is also available all year round for low-cost maintenance or repair of your precious two-wheeler.

Cycling facilities and recommended routes

ULiège offers a series of itineraries, validated by ULiège cyclists, using a maximum ofexisting cycling facilities and secondary roads.

It's also possible to get "coached" by an experienced volunteer cyclist during your first 3 round trips and/or to join a TEAMS group for exchange between cyclists.

Advice on choosing and keeping your bike

Our bike workshop is there to help you choose from the existing range. It also offers new or reconditioned bikes at low cost, depending on availability.

Training courses and awareness days are also organized at various times of the year.

With these facilities and tips, we've done everything we can to make cycling to university a comfortable and sustainable alternative.
