As the new year begins, ULiège pays tribute to its students, and in particular to the reassuring rituals they implement during this pivotal period between end-of-year festivities, blockade and exam session.

In October, we polled our student community on Instagram , asking them "What's the strangest habit you have during the exam session?". Their answers - sometimes unique, sometimes shared from student to student - inspired this year-end greetings video.

To produce it, the Communications Department called on the acting talents of three students: Marie Spirlet (master's degree in performing arts), Jordan Wandji (bachelor's degree in biological sciences) and Clara Schyns (master's degree in psychology).

These three faces are part of a team of actor/figurine jobbers recruited at the beginning of the year. Over the coming months, they will help to embody the various video contents published on the university's social networks.

Alongside them, a ULiège professor has also lent himself to the game: Hervé Caps, professor of physics at the Faculty of Science. His participation reminds us that, in the face of mounting pressure, we're all in this together.

Thank you to them for helping to bring this end-of-year wink to life! The more attentive among you may notice a few hidden easter eggs .

The Université de Liège wishes you a happy holiday season (whether studious or not), and a wonderful year 2026!
