HEC Liège's student association and S'LAB - a service platform aimed at HEC's sustainable transition - submit the "Health and well-being week at HEC" project. 

The first Health Week, organized by the Assoc', took place in February 2024. We would like to propose a second, expanded edition with a focus on well-being and respect for diversity, in February 2025.

The aim of this activity will be to remind students that well-being and psychological and physical health are essential. But what does it involve? The days of the week will be dedicated to specific themes such as nutrition, sport, screening, first aid, sharing, respect for diversity, consent, etc. During the days, activities will be organized in direct relation to these themes. We'll be offering conferences, screening, prevention stands, sports and fun activities, healthy meals, stands on addictions, consent, gender equality, a blood donation in conjunction with the Red Cross, and much more besides.
For the reflections that will complement the initial activity, we would like to be accompanied by the ASBL O'YES, which raises awareness of sexual health through peer education. These aspects, throughout the week, will echo the Danc'IN Diversity campaign, organized in 2024 at HEC.

The Assoc' estimates the budget devoted to organizing the first edition at €2,000.
Numerous partner companies have been asked to support the activity and have offered meals for the Community, prizes to encourage participation in the various activities and competitions,.... It was not possible to obtain funding.
On this basis, and considering the addition of a well-being and respect for diversity dimension to the initial project, we estimate that a budget of 2,500 would be necessary to reproduce the event and bring this new formula to a successful conclusion. Any additional financial support will be welcome to continue enriching and improving the offer made to students during the first edition.

The project consists of a faculty festival, taking place over two to three days, during the week of March 21, 2025. The aim of the festival is to present the Solarpunk philosophy, and its concrete application in the future, by answering the question: What does a sustainable world look like in 50 years' time?

The Solarpunk aesthetic is a positive, optimistic and renewable vision of the future. A branch of science fiction, it has rapidly become a social movement that aims to offer a new vision of the future, reinforcing the impact of community, renewable energies and a post-capitalist system on the future and well-being of humanity. The festival is divided into two parts, firstly in the form of lectures given by professors and researchers, as well as artists and activists, each explaining how their field can, must and will evolve, what new technologies
are likely to emerge, and how to get there. 

In a second phase, stands will be set up for commissions, organizations, businesses and activities. Each presenting in some way a fragment of the Solarpunk movement.

The installation of these fountains would raise awareness among the university community of the importance of sustainable water resource management. This aligns with the efforts of the University's Green Office, which aims to promote green and sustainable practices on campus. By providing easy access to drinking water, the fountains would encourage students, staff and visitors to choose a greener alternative to plastic bottles.

Ingénieures et les Ingénieurs Sans Frontières are committed to sustainable engineering: responsible, supportive and inclusive. In the North as in the South, we build partnerships, exchange knowledge and skills, and develop and implement technical solutions in the service of human development and sustainable transformation. 

The project involves the organization of a festive flea market, during which (former) students (current, graduating or reorienting) will be invited to sell equipment required for certain courses and no longer in use. The main items up for sale are materials used in graphic communication and architectural design courses (felt-tip pens, T-slats, telescopic transport tubes, drawing folders, cutting boards, scalpels, cutters, cardboard, etc.), architectural books and magazines.
In addition to the flea market, the event will feature a festive evening for students, former students, teachers, researchers and PATO members (with urban sketchers, in situ sketching workshops, barbecue, drinks, brass band, dance floor, etc.).
The event will be organized at the start of the academic year, to enable students new to our Faculty to acquire some of the equipment they need second-hand, but also to foster a sense of belonging to the Faculty and strengthen/create links between its members.
The funding would enable us to cover the following expenses: student jobbers to organize and run the event, the brass band and one free drink per person. The meal will be offered at cost price.  

Currently, 175 researchers are funded by the Télévie operation in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, including 55 at the Université de Liège. Every day, these scientists work to advance cancer research. 

The Faculty of Medicine proposes to support the Faculty's Sustainability Unit, which works to set up activities focused on sustainable development (courses, lecture series). 

The Faculty is proposing an institutional project for meal vouchers to be redeemed at the Le Kotidienstudent grocery store.
