It can be difficult to initiate or maintain contact with new people. You may feel blocked by stress, fear of doing the wrong thing, or not knowing what to say. The aim of this group is to better understand these difficulties andprovide you withthe tools to learn how to tame them.
As part of a student support project run by the rectoral team, an intervention focusing on managing feelings of loneliness has beenspecially designed to help students break out of their isolation and dare to reach out to others.
The group is open to anyone wishing to learn how to counter the stress that can sometimes prevent them from reaching out to others, and thus isolate themselves.
After a preliminary individual session (to see if the group can meet their expectations), participants commit to taking part in all 4 group sessions, as well as practicing the daily exercises set out in the program.
