Drawing from the family pharmacy, listening to the advice of a friend who is taking a particular medicine, buying products in a pharmacy or on the Internet without medical advice - it happens all the time! While there are generally no consequences for a simple aspirin (although...), self-medication can be dangerous, especially when it comes to products such as morphine analgesics, anxiolytics, beta-blockers, etc. Most of them are only available on prescription. Most of these are prescription-only. Not without reason.

If you add them to other drugs you're already taking, you can end up with a cocktail that can be quite dangerous, caused by theinteraction of different substances.

Even when used in isolation, a product may not have the same effect on you as it does on your mother or your friend.

Worse still, by delaying diagnosis and effective, appropriate treatment, self-medication can have serious consequences.

If you think you need medication, talk to a doctor !
