Would you like to be supported in your (new) studies... and receive regular methodological advice? Are you wondering about your work techniques and/or organization at university? Are you wondering how to adapt to the university teaching environment and refine your learning strategies?
The Study Guidance team invites you to sign up for its "Hebdo MéthodO" to receive weekly MéthodO tips and useful information linked to the life of a university student,throughout the academic year and at a distance(in complete autonomy).
By following the Hebdo MéthodO, you will receive :
general methodological and organizational advice: on how to work on your courses and how to organize yourself (attending classes, taking and (re)working on notes, working on course materials, building personal tools, memorizing subjects, managing your time during the year, but also in blocks and sessions, preparing for exams, improving concentration, avoiding perfectionism...);
useful information on the workings of the University of Liège (particularly in relation to current events) and on the various institutionalaids available, depending on needs and times;
encouragement to get through the various stages of the academic year...
... to maintain your efforts and motivation.
A complementary Hebdo MéthodO program is offered to students who are restarting their Block 1 after having passed less than 30 credits in their1st year: this is one of the remedial activities offered to these students, and for which it is possible to register (via the PAE).
In addition to the general support offered to all students starting out at ULiège, this specific scheme will offer registered students additional advice and resources tailored to their specific situation.
This distance-learning support system is particularly aimed at students who are starting their studies at university (particularly Bachelor's level Block 1), to help them get to grips with this "adventure" step by step.
It is also useful for those who need a reminder of how to work and organize themselves effectively.
You can select the tips that best meet your needs and expectations, and use the suggested tools on your own.
Tips are offered over the course of two quarters, in the form of "tip sheets" sent out every week (or so). These sheets are announced by e-mail. They are accompanied, as the case may be, by an appendix of tools and/or resources.
All tip sheets are posted and classified progressively in an online space (DOX ULiège), enabling you to find them easily in a centralized location and to (re)consult them as and when you wish.
Participation in Hebdo MéthodO is entirely free, but registration is required to receive emails and tip sheets. Registration is possible from the start of the school year until June 30.
We strongly advise you to register as soon as possible, so that we can provide you with step-by-step advice. NB. once registration has been validated, each participant has access to all the information sheets posted since the beginning of the year, prior to registration.
